JACK’S PLACE for Autism Foundation announced details for an upcoming fundraiser. From August 5 to 11, Barnes & Noble of Rochester Hills will hold an in-store and online book fair, as well as a special in-store event. A percentage of each individual’s purchase will go toward funding the Foundation to further serve families affected by autism.
The in-store portion of the fundraiser takes place between Saturday, August 5 and Sunday, August 6. Individuals planning to purchase books in the store must present a printed voucher, which can be found here. To kick off the fundraiser, the Foundation and Barnes & Noble will hold an event for kids, Paint with Paws. This takes place on Saturday between 1 and 3 p.m. at Barnes & Noble of Rochester Hills. Kids will be able to participate in arts & crafts activities, a scavenger hunt and more with Paws, the mascot of the Detroit Tigers.
Throughout the week, individuals may purchase books online and use a code that will have a percentage of their purchase total sent to the Foundation. Individuals online must go to www.bn.com/bookfairs and use the code 12151387 to support the Foundation with their purchase.
