JACK’S PLACE for Autism Foundation announced today that the Foundation is in development of an online store that is scheduled to open Monday, March 13. The online store will create a new way for people to support JACK’S PLACE and their efforts in helping families affected by autism spectrum disorder.
“JACK’S PLACE depends on the support of the community and we want to create as many opportunities for people to support the Foundation as possible,” said Co-Founder and President of JACK’S PLACE, Lisa Price. “With the online store, we are creating another way in which people can support the foundation. In addition, we believe that people should be rewarded for showing support. What we plan to sell online will allow people to display their support in public.”
The online store will start with five items in the catalog, including a stuffed animal, two charm bracelets, a pin and a T-shirt. JACK’S PLACE plans to expand upon the catalog by adding more clothing, jewelry and other products.
All the money received through online orders will allow for JACK’S PLACE to continue providing educational and referral services to families affected by autism spectrum disorder. In addition, the money will help the Foundation continue working with community partners, as well as hosting – or participating in – local events.
